The Train Display is open from May 1 through the third full weekend of September.

Hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.  and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The display consists of the restored Hershey, Nebraska depot, a Union pacific challenger steam locomotive, a 6900 series diesel locomotive, mail car, baggage car and caboose, along with other railroad memorabilia.  No charge.

The portable band shell is used during the summer months for concerts in the park. In the winter months, it is used from the first Monday after Thanksgiving through December 25th for a Santa’s Workshop Display. The portable band shell, when not in use by the City, is available for rental (see below for fees). City crews move, open and close the band shell.  To rent the band shell, please contact Park Supervisor, Jim Parker 535-6700 ext. 2418.
