PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Myers Construction, Inc. will be working on updating the water main along West 9th Street. Work will be at the intersection of Washington Avenue and West 9th Street starting Tuesday, May 21, 2024, until installation is complete. The north side of 9th Street at Washington Avenue will be closed for all North and South bound traffic during this time.
The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of the transportation system and perpetuate the mobility of the traveling public.
Traffic will be maintained with lane closures. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is November 2023.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
