Records Division

The Records Unit maintains police department records and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and expedient recovery. It is a part of the Support Services Division under the command of Lt. Dan Shea and supervised by Kendra Younghans.

Duties of this office include processing police reports, distribution of police reports, preparation of court documents, processing parking tickets, releasing impounded or stored vehicles, collection of parking fines, processing accident reports, routing all telephone calls to the appropriate division, processing firearm purchase permits and responding to questions from the public.
