The Engineering Department establishes and oversees the 1&6 Street plan, as well as develop project plan, specifications and bidding documents and construction oversight for street improvements. The City Engineering Department processes paving districts as petitioned by the Public.

Public Works Permit
The City Engineering Department also reviews permits for work in City Right-of-Way and work that impacts public infrastructure.
The Public Works Permit is to be filled out and turned into the Permit Clerk with the associated fee.
