Director of Finance (City Treasurer)
The Director of Finance oversees the operations and activities of the Finance Department. The Director of Finance also serves as City Treasurer per the Revised Statutes of the State of Nebraska 1943, § 16-317, and shall receive and be the custodian of all money belonging to the City of North Platte.

Director of Finance
The position of City Clerk, as mandated by the Revised Statutes of the State of Nebraska 1943 § 16-317, is appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council. It is the duty of the City Clerk to attend meetings of the City Council and keep a record of the proceedings thereof. Whenever required by the Mayor or requested by the members of the Council, she shall deliver a notice to the members of the Council of any special meeting, and shall notify any and all committees of the council of the business entrusted to them. The Clerk shall, in addition to the general duties imposed by law, perform such duties as may be imposed by ordinance or directed by the governing body.
Information Systems Department
The Information Systems Department supports and maintains the technology infrastructure and systems used by the City. The IS Department has a director and two support professionals. The IS Department works to coordinate technology infrastructure and support requirements for the City of North Platte.
The Legal Department oversees all legal functions of the City of North Platte and serves in an advisory capacity to the Mayor, City Administrator and City Council.
