A Bus for All of Us!

What is Public Transit?

The North Platte Public Transit has demand-response and a fixed route system. Both systems are sponsored by the City of North Platte, available to everyone in North Platte.

North Platte is centrally located about 250 miles between Omaha and Denver. The cross hairs of US Highway 30, US Highway 83, and Interstate 80 allow easy vehicle access to the region. Union Pacific Railroad also serves as a major transportation industry for the area and is a strong employer in North Platte. The City of North Platte operates both fixed route and door to door bus service within the city limits. North Platte is also the home to the North Platte Regional Airport (LBF), also known as Lee Bird Field, with connections via Denver to anywhere. North Platte is truely rich in transporation history and today provides excellent travel facilities for all.
