Prepare yourself to save a life...CPR for the
Professional Rescuer teaches you how to recognize and care for breathing and
cardiac emergencies.
Designed for those professionals with a duty to act, including nurses, nursing students,
EMTs, paramedics, allied health care professionals and athletic trainers. CPR/AED for the
Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider teaches you how to recognize and care for
breathing emergencies, in both one and two rescuer situations. Participants will also learn the
responsibilities of a professional rescuer, the legal considerations involved, how to understand
the signs and symptoms of heart attack, and how to supplement your quality CPR care with the use
of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). CEU's now available.

The purpose of the Fundamentals of Instructor Training Course is to:
Introduce instructor candidates to the history, structure and activities of the American Red Cross.
Prepare instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross specialty courses to diverse populations.
Teach instructor candidates the policies and procedures fo the American Red Cross to ensure course consistency, quality and appropriate reporting.
