2012 SUMMER READING FOR ADULTS
Between the Covers
We had such a great time with the 2011 Adult Summer Reading Program, that we are doing it again this year. Our 2012 theme is "Between the Covers".
This program centers on independent reading and does not require registration, attendance at meetings, or any cost.
The rules are simple. Read whatever you want over the summer, and every week you can enter a drawing for one of the "Under the Covers" prizes. Books
in any format count: large print, fiction, non-fiction, e-books, audio books, etc. Read your own or borrow one from us. For every book you read you can fill out
an entry form (maximum of 3 per week). Drawing will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. You don't need to be present to win. If you attend any of the summer
series programs or brown bag luncheons, you can enter a 4th time on a special program entry form.
The program kicks off on Friday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m., with a special program entitled "The Healing Benefits of Aromatherapy" by Diane Osbon.
Guests for this program will be able to sample several different fragrances that induce relaxation and sleep.
The Adult Summer Reading program is open to anyone 18 years of age and older and will continue from June 1 through September 1. The first prize drawing will
be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9. More information and drawing forms are available at the library.
Sounds like fun, doesn't it!
NO REGISTRATION! NO CHARGE! NO MEETINGS!
