City of North Platte: North Platte Public Library: Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch
Teens are invited weekly to "Lunch Bunch" offered at designated middle
schools, parochial and public. During lunch, students bring their lunch to a dedicated room and
discuss favorite books and authors. While they are eating, the YA Librarian
reads short stories aloud and previews books from the YA collection (also known as
book talking) to promote various authors and their novels.
